After much planning and deliberation, we are now fully prepared to offer Online Yoga Teacher Training Programs.

This Online Yoga Teacher Training is compliant with all the guidelines set by Yoga Alliance. After graduation, trainees shall be able to register themselves as Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training (RYT-200).
Yoga Alliance Registered
Yoga Alliance has provisioned online delivery of Yoga Teacher Training Courses and advised for sessions to be done live. By doing so, Bodhi’s Yoga Teacher Training is compliant with all the guidelines set by Yoga Alliance. Consequently, our trainees can register themselves with YA after graduation.
We limit the class size to a maximum of only 12 students. This is to ensure that we don’t compromise the quality of instruction and that we give utmost attention to each trainee.
One-on-one Coaching with Lead Trainer
Each student will have an opportunity to have a one-on-one coaching session with the Lead Trainer. During this one-on-one, the Senior Instructor will be providing invaluable feedback to nurture a trainee’s own practice. More importantly, this gives the trainee an opportunity to navigate the teaching path with someone who’s had experience and insight.
200-hours of Live Online Classes
6-month Immersion
This course is designed to be habit forming and integrative to your daily life. For 6 months, we will incorporate the practice and lessons of yoga in our daily lives. This format is perfect for busy individuals who are unable to join a one-month residential teacher training course but are still keen to learn. With 6 months to prepare, you will come out of this course fully equipped to begin a lifelong career in yoga.
As yoga teachers, it is our duty to teach practices and techniques that we personally know from our own experience. This allows for more meaningful ways to convey instruction and offer personalized adjustments. To cement this experiential learning, our teacher training program offers intensive practice sessions daily. We dedicate two hours of every training day in developing your own yoga practice.
This module tackles the structure and function of the human body, particularly the relationship of the breath and the spine in different physical movements. This course distinguishes yoga practice from calisthenics or gymnastics by emphasizing the incorporation of breath, movement and mindfulness. In this module, the relationship of the subtle energies to the physical body shall also be discussed (Koshas, Chakras, Gunas, Doshas).

X. Introduction to Ayurveda – 2 hours
Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics revisits the ancient roots of modern yoga. Popular yogic texts shall be discussed in context and contrast with the modern world. Lifestyle of yogis and ethics of yoga teachers shall also be discussed in detail. We believe that we can learn from every one, so this module presents our trainees the opportunity to share their thoughts and beliefs in life to foster a healthy and progressive discussion.

Teaching Methodology module takes on different elements of teaching such as creating a safe space for self-exploration, crafting sequences of asanas and pranayama practices, cuing students in their process of refinement, offering practical guidance in meditation, and offering examples for extending the practice off the mat. Find a purpose for your yoga practice and define a suitable path for your journey. Identify rewards and anticipate consequences of being a yoga teacher. Develop fundamental entrepreneurial skills to make your yoga career sustainable.

Course Completion Requirements:
I. 1 page paper A reflection of your yogic journey and learning experiences
II. Three written exams on Yoga Anatomy, Yoga Philosophy and Teaching Methodology
III. 1 hour LIVE Vinyasa Yoga Class
IV. 1 hour LIVE Relaxing Yoga and Meditation Class
V. 16 short videos Practice teaching different components of a yoga class.

Course Creator & Lead Trainer
Leona has dedicated herself to the practice of yoga for the past decade. She started her yoga practice in the Ashtanga tradition and gradually explored the practices of Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama and Meditation. Her practice and teaching style has evolved from a heavily physical experience to a more mindfulness-based curation of fluid and biomechanically-safe movements, breathing exercises, and meditative expression.

In 2015, she founded Bodhi Yoga Center, a humble yoga school in Southern Philippines, with the vision of yoga teacher training courses to Filipino practitioners who aspire to become yoga teachers. With her guidance, her students have become yoga teachers, studio owners, and teacher trainers themselves.

This slow-paced 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Online course is divided into 4 parts.
The first 3 parts runs for 6 weeks with 2-hour live daily classes.
The final part, which is the Capstone & Practicum, will run for 2 weeks.
All courses will be delivered online via Google Classroom.
Participants can choose to enroll to all modules and gain a teaching certificate or to enroll to one module at a time.
