This in-person 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is for yoga teachers who wish to further develop their skills in sharing the gift of yoga. Our comprehensive curriculum covers all the necessary topics to allow yoga teachers to teach Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga (Yang Yoga), and Yoga Nidra in an accessible, adaptive, and trauma-informed manner.
Only graduates of 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga Alliance registered institutions may join this training.
What You’ll Learn in our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training
This course promises a holistic curriculum that contains both active and passive yoga practices. As participants of a 300-hour advanced training, we expect our students to already have the instructional know-how required of yoga teachers. This 300-hour yoga teacher training, however, will further develop and refine one’s skills in sharing safe and sustainable practices by engaging in the following topics:
- The science of stress and how it silently kills us, along with stress-release techniques derived from more passive practices such as Mindful Meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
- Ancient philosophies and legends of creation behind our much beloved yogic practices.
- Trauma-informed, adaptive and accessible ways of teaching and assisting in Hatha Yoga (whichever style of hatha it may be) across different bodies and abilities.
- Intelligent class planning that is both mindfully creative and anatomically safe.
- Creating and executing yoga events (classes, courses, workshops and retreats) that are relevant to you and your students.
- The nuances of the yoga profession and how to build an ethical yoga business model using the tools and technology that are available to us.

Leona is the founder of Bodhi Yoga Center. She provides instruction for different variations of Hatha Yoga, such as Classical Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin. Leona spent a good number of her 20’s exploring holistic health and spirituality through yoga. She founded Bodhi Yoga Center in 2015 as a means of spreading the practice of self-awareness in her hometown of General Santos City, Mindanao.
She has a special place in her heart for the City of Rishikesh in Northern India where she obtained her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Vinyasa Yoga School in 2014. Four years later, in 2018, she returned to train for her 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Classical Hatha Yoga from Gyan Yog Breath.
Leona has been leading yoga teacher training courses since 2017 and has over 4,000 hours of teaching experience.

Lotus Shores Siargao – Nestled in the jungles of the wave-fringed island that is Siargao, we are given the sacred opportunity to practice deep listening and find deep rest. Preserving as much of the natural landscape, the retreat features large gardens, open spaces and architecture inspired by a combination of traditional and minimalist styles. The dedicated spaces for practice (Durga Temple and Yoga Dojo) and communal areas (Kali Ma Cafe & Restaurant) hold a grandeur that leads the mind towards the infinite. The comfortable and minimalist interior of the accommodation inspire clarity of mind and and the inward turning of one’s awareness.
Lotus Shores is a space where visitors can experience the healing power of the island and the warmth and light-hearted spirit of the Filipino people, in a way that inspires and supports the unfolding of our higher identity: as the compassionate, loving, blissful observer of this beautiful Lila (divine, cosmic play).
Kali Ma Cafe in Lotus Shores – Come home to the Mother-Goddess’ kitchen, where all beings are safe and loved, where every meal is a celebration of Life– of its unity, beauty and abundance.
Kali, the life-giving force that gives rise to the animate world is the same energy that drives of transformation and spiritual evolution. The cafe is an homage to the life-giving mother, who has provided us with all that we need to realize our true nature. We create our food the way we envion she would, sourcing produce from our growing vegetable garden and the island’s organic farms. All meals are made with intention, by hand, and from scratch. Nothing from a can or plastic bag. We work with time (e.g organic farming methods, fermentation, etc.), nature, high vibrations, and loving hands.
A plant-based diet is the actualization of the potential of the individual to create change in his/her immediate experience, community, and for the world at large.

All rates are inclusive of a student kit containing textbooks, learning materials, a journal, t-shirt and water bottle. The 300-hour certification will be issued only to participants who satisfactorily complete the course requirements.

Payment Terms: To secure your spot for the course, 50% must be paid upon enrollment. Remaining balance must be fully paid by September 1, 2021.
